Activities of Tahreek-e-I’laay-e-Kalimatullah

(Mission to elevate the Word of Allah)

  “Help each other in righteousness and piety, and do not help each other in sin and aggression.” The Holy Qur’an

  1. Creating Islamic revival amongst the older generation through holding Tafseer lessons and Islamic conferences. By the grace of Allah, this work is continuing effectively. By the grace of Allah, this work is continuing effectively in masjids, residences and many other centres in the form of assemblies, for men and women separately, throughout the year. As a result, unprecedented revival is being noticed in the locality and in the surrounding area. (May Allah accept it!)

  2. A Girls’ Madrasah (from nursery to graduation): An institution known as Al-Jamiatut-Tayyibah Sultanpur Girls’ Madrasah which is being run by professional teachers. Every year hundreds of girls receive Aalimah certificate, having studied in this madrasah – who are called ‘Alima’ in modern terminology. The graduates are teaching professionally in various madrasas. Even in the UK, US and the Middle East, the former students of this madrasah are providing service to Deen in many ways. (May Allah accept it!).

  3. A Boys’ Madrasah (from nursery to graduation): Another institution, named after the great man who is buried in the village, Hadhrat Shah Sultan RA, which is being run by professional teachers. Although the curriculum taught is approved by Wifaqul Madaaris Al-Arabiyyah Bangladesh, additional disciplines, e.g. Bangla, English and Mathematics are essentially taught up to the secondary level.

  • To ensure that boys and girls grow up as independent individuals, they are taught various vocational skills, e.g. IT, electrical trainings, plumbing, gardening; and sewing, embroidery works, fine arts, rearing domestic animals and cooking, for girls In addition to the academic learning. 

  4. Establishing primary madrasas in villages with the intention of providing Muslim children with primary religious education and endeavouring to keep the next generation steadfast on Islam. As others are endeavouring to drive Muslim children away from religion through missionary and other works, this is a significant attempt to protect the Muslim generation from their conspiracies. By the grace of Allah, 15 madrasas are operating which teach a 4/5 year course called ‘Tahfeezus Sibyaan’. Efforts are being

made to continue this activity at a wider scale very soon. 

  5. A Hifz only Madrasah: A system of preserving the Word of Allah in the hearts of Muslim children. By the grace

of Allah, as a result of adopting a special teaching method, learners are able to memorise the entire Holy Qur’an at a very short time. By the grace of Allah Almighty, every year several students become Hafiz.

  6. A Qira’ah Training Centre: This institution has gained excellent reputation for teaching the correct method of reciting the Holy Qur’an to people of all levels throughout the year, especially in the month of Ramadhan. Until now, hundreds of women have received the Qira’ah certificates and are teaching skilfully in various Qira’ah centres in many places.

Our earnest appeal to all self-conscious Muslim brothers and sisters: You should also discharge this duty on behalf of the Ummah, by initiating these programmes in your own areas, and create an Islamic environment. If you are unable to initiate these, due to the lack of competent teachers, then: (1) by enrolling boys and girls from your locality at our institution, you can create competent teachers for this task. By the grace of Allah, enthusiastic teachers are being raised at our institutions. (There is a hostel for non-local students). (2) You may contribute to this noble work, by donating from your halal earning into the following funds of our institution:

The Institutions’ Funds: (a) General Fund: The money from this fund is used for all types of the institution’s expenses. (b) Building Fund: The construction of a 350 ft long three-story building, a 150 ft long five-storey building and also a 100 ft building is now complete. On the ground floor of the building there exists the classrooms, the hostel for the boys and the office. Girls classrooms are on the first floor. On the second floor there are the bathrooms, toilets, kitchen, handicraft room, training room and the hostel for the girls. (c) Poor Fund: Nowadays, many organisations attract children to their institutions by providing them with various kinds of aids, e.g. wheat, clothes. We have also taken the initiative of giving out grants to our meritorious students who do well in their quarterly exams. So that the impoverished guardians do not deprive their children from Islamic education out of temptation. (d) Da’wah Fund: The money from this fund is used for propagating the Deen. (1) We will be grateful and honoured if you could contribute to this noble work by giving us your valued advice. (2) You can also participate in this righteous work by making dua’ for the prosperity of this institution.

Let us devote ourselves to establish Islamic environment and peace throughout the globe by helping each other. May Allah grant us Tawfiq (ability to do so) and accept our efforts. Aameen. Allah Hafiz.
